Touring Map
Day 5 Pangong Lake to Leh via Hemis Monastery
1. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,360 meters / 17,590 feet). En route, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest
and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh.
2. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Indus Valley. Visit Shey Palace and Sindhu Darshan before arriving back in Leh.
3. Overnight stay at the hotel. (BLD)
Day 6 Departure from Leh
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Bid farewell to Ladakh with wonderful memories and begin planning your next adventure.
Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley
1. After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet), the world’s highest motorable road and the gateway to Siachen Glacier. Stop at the top of the pass to enjoy breathtaking views.
2. Visit Diskit Monastery, founded in 1420 AD by Lama Sherab Zangpo. Upon arrival in Nubra, check in at your camp or hotel.
3. Later, visit Hundar Village and enjoy a Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in the sand dunes at Hundar (on a direct payment basis).
4. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel or camp in Nubra. (BLD)
Day 4 Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
1. After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake via the scenic route through Shyok. The journey follows the Shyok River, passing through picturesque villages and rugged mountain terrain.
2. Arrive at Pangong Lake by afternoon. Spend the day enjoying the stunning beauty of the lake, known for its ever-changing hues.
3. Overnight stay at the camp. (BLD)
